Effects of adding tributyric glycerol esters to the diet on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, and serum biochemical indicators in broilers
The influence of ttributyl glycerides on growth performance in broilers were explored.160 healthy and disease-free 1 day old broiler chickens broiler chickens of similar weight were selected for this experiment. The control group of broilers were fed with basic diet.Groups Ⅰ,Ⅱ,and Ⅲ of the experiment were supplemented with 1000 mg/kg,1500 mg/kg,and 2000 mg/kg tributyl glycerol esters in the basic diet, respectively. The pre experimental period is 7 days, and the formal experimental period is 42 days. The research results showed that compared to the control group, the 42 day old body weight and average daily gain of the experimental group broilers significantly increased(P<0.05),while the feed to weight ratio of the experimental Ⅱ and Ⅲ groups broilers significantly decreased(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in average daily feed intake(P>0.05);The apparent digestibility of dry matter, crude protein, crude fiber, and energy in the experimental group significantly increased(P<0.05),while the apparent digestibility of crude fat showed no significant difference compared to the control group(P>0.05);The total protein content and high-density lipoprotein content in the serum of broiler chickens in the experimental group significantly increased(P<0.05),while the total cholesterol and triglyceride content significantly decreased(P<0.05).However,the low-density lipoprotein content in the serum of broiler chickens in each experimental group showed no significant difference compared to the control group(P>0.05).Overall,adding tributyl glyceride to the diet can effectively improve the growth performance of broilers, enhance their nutrient apparent digestibility, and improve serum biochemical indicators.Overall,it is recommended that the appropriate amount of tributyl glyceride be added to the diet of broilers is 1500 mg/kg.
