Effect of methionine chromium on growth performance, blood biochemical and immune indexes in finishing pigs
In order to study and analyze the effects of different levels of methionine chromium on growth, immune biochemical indicators, and immune indicators in finishing pigs.In this experiment, healthy individuals with similar age, physical condition, and weight(100±2.0 kg)were selected as 200"Du×long×large"three way hybrid fattening pigs were randomly divided into 4 groups, with 10 replicates per group and every 5"pigs×long×large"ternary hybrid fattening pigs were divided into a repeating group, and the groups were supplemented with 0,0.3,0.5,and 0.7 mg/kg methionine chromium(in the form of chromium)in the basic diet. The preexperiment lasted for 7 days and the experimental period was 56 days. The results showed that:(1)The average daily gain of group 3 and group 4 fattening pigs was significantly increased by 13.5%and 12.2%(P<0.05)compared to group 1,respectively,and their feed weight was significantly reduced by 8.7%and 7.3%(P<0.05)compared to group 1;(2)The TP content in the serum of group 3 and 4 finishing pigs was significantly increased by 16.4%and 16.1%compared to group 1(P<0.05),and the AST,TC,and BUN content in the serum was significantly reduced by 17.8%,18.4%,12.4%,12.8%,13.3%,and 11.3%compared to group 1(P<0.05);(3)The levels of IgG,IL-2,and CSFV antibody in the serum of group 3 and 4 finishing pigs were significantly increased by 10.5%,12.3%,14.8%,22.9%,18.0%,and 15.6%compared to group 1,respectively(P<0.05).In summary, the addition of different levels of methionine chromium can improve the growth performance of fattening pigs, improve blood biochemical indicators, and enhance their immunity. The application effect of adding 0.5 mg/kg methionine chromium to the basic concentrate is good.
