Effects of fermented feed from grape pomace on growth performance serum biochemical indicators and nutrient digestibility of piglet
This experiment added different levels of grape skin residue fermented feed to the daily feeding of piglet to study the effects on their growth performance, serum immune indicators, and nutrient digestibility. The 108 finishing pigs were selected for the experiment and divided into four groups on average, with 3 replicates in each group and 9 piglets in each replicates group. The experiments are divided into control group and the experiment Ⅰ(2.5%grape skin residue fermented feed addition group),experiment Ⅱ(5.0%grape skin residue fermented feed addition group),and experiment Ⅲ(10.0%grape skin residue fermented feed addition group). The experimental period is 40 days, during which piglet freely feed. The results showed that compared with the control group, adding different levels of grape skin residue fermented feed to the diet had a significant impact on the final weight, average daily weight gain, and feed to weight ratio of finishing pigs(P<0.05).Among them, adding 5.0%grape skin residue fermented feed to the diet had the most significant effect on improving the growth performance of finishing pigs(P<0.05).The average daily weight gain of finishing pigs increased by 9.10%compared to the control group, and the feed to weight gain decreased by 8.81%compared to the control group;Secondly, adding different levels of grape skin residue fermented feed to the diet had a significant impact on immune indicators such as IgA,IgG,and IgM in the serum of finishing pigs(P<0.05).Among them, the immune indicators of the group added with 5.0%grape skin residue fermented feed showed the most significant difference compared to the control group(P<0.05),with IgA,IgG,and IgM increased by 16.7%,22.10%,and 38.89%,respectively.Finally,adding different levels of grape skin residue fermented feed to the diet also had a significant impact on the nutrient digestibility of piglet(P<0.05),with the addition of 5.0%grape skin residue fermented feed having the most significant difference in nutrient digestibility indicators compared to the control group(P<0.05).The digestibility of crude fiber and protein increased by 8.29%and 8.02%,respectively,compared to the control group. The research results indicate that adding 5.0%grape skin residue fermented feed to the diet has the most significant effect on promoting the growth of piglet, and can achieve the best feed efficiency for piglet.
