This experiment aims to investigate the effects of fermented cottonseed meal replacing soybean meal on the growth performance, serum biochemical indicators, and slaughter performance of broilers.Select 4001-day-old white feather broilers and randomly divide them into 4 groups, with 10 replicates in each group, with 10 chickens per replicate.Using 0%,2%,4%,and 8%fermented cottonseed meal instead of soybean meal in the basic diet as the experimental diet, the experiment lasted for a total of 42 days. The experimental results showed that using 2%fermented cottonseed meal instead of soybean meal in the diet significantly increased the final body weight and average daily gain of broilers(P<0.05);The use of 8%fermented cottonseed meal instead of soybean meal in the diet significantly reduced the final body weight and average daily gain of broilers(P<0.05);Compared with the 2%addition group, adding 8%fermented cottonseed meal to the diet significantly increased the feed to weight ratio of broilers(P<0.05);In addition, using fermented cottonseed meal instead of soybean meal had no significant effect on the average daily feed intake of broilers(P>0.05).Adding 2%fermented cottonseed meal to the diet significantly increased the serum total protein and albumin content of broilers(P<0.05);Adding 8%fermented cottonseed meal to the diet significantly increased the activities of serum alanine aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase in broilers(P<0.05);In addition, the addition of fermented cottonseed meal to the diet did not significantly affect the serum triglycerides, total cholesterol, and urea nitrogen content of broilers(P>0.05).Adding 2%fermented cottonseed meal to the diet significantly increased the semi net bore rate, full net bore rate, and leg muscle rate of broilers(P<0.05);In addition, the addition of fermented cottonseed meal to the diet had no significant effect on the abdominal fat rate and chest muscle rate of broilers(P>0.05).In summary, under the conditions of this experiment, the optimal amount of fermented cottonseed meal added to broiler feed is 2%.
