Study on the dietary metabolism energy and crude protein requirements for JingDian typical meat ducks from 21~37 days
An experiment with 3 dietary metabolism energy(ME)levels(11.92,12.34,12.8 MJ/kg)and 2 dietary crude protein(CP)levels(16.5%,17.5%)was conducted to study the effects of dietary ME and CP levels on production performance and carcass quality of JingDian typical meat ducks from 21~37 days. The results showed that:(1)Compared with other groups,JingDian typical meat ducks fed dietary with 12.8 MJ/kg ME level and 17.5%CP level, the weight gain feed to meat ratio was the lowest(P<0.05),significantly lower than 6.73%in group 1 and 7.62%in group 4;(2)Dietary ME levels and CP levels had no effect(P>0.05)on the JingDian typical meat male and female ducks carcass traits(eviscerated carcass weight percentage, sebum fat rate, breast meat rate, leg meat rate and abdominal fat rate)and body weights(slaughter weight, wing weight, feet weight, heart weight, liver weight, and gizzard weight).(3)Based on the results of this experiments and practical production experiences,it suggested that ducks fed dietary with 12.8 MJ/kg ME level and 17.5%CP level could achieve optimal production performance.
