Advances in the application of fermented distiller's grains in cattle industry
As a by-product of wine industry,distiller's grains have been widely used in animal feed in recent years,which can partially replace concentrate in diet and alleviate feed shortage in breeding industry to some extent.The microbial fermentation of distiller's grains not only prolongs the storage time,improves the crude protein content,and optimizes the amino acid composition,but also reduces the crude fiber content in the feed,which has higher nutritional value and enhances the feeding value of distiller's grains.This paper mainly summarized the latest research progress of the characteristics,utilization methods and application effects of fermented distiller's grains in cattle industry,aimed to lay a foundation for the subsequent development and utilization of fermented distiller's grains as feed resources.
