Analysis and suggestions on the development of animal husbandry in Jiangsu province
This paper took the animal husbandry of Jiangsu province as the research object,introduced the basic situation of the industry,analyzed the effect of high-quality development of animal husbandry,and probed into the advantages of policy support,market demand,scientific and technological support,etc.,it also gave some suggestions on feed utilization,facilities and equipment,overall planning,safety bottom line and industrial upgrading.The results showed that the total output of livestock and poultry in Jiangsu province was moderate,and the output of eggs and fresh milk was the highest in East China,and the output value of animal husbandry was the third in East China.In agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery,animal husbandry accounted for 14.8％,and in animal husbandry,poultry and pig accounted for 46.3％and 39.8％respectively.The output of livestock and poultry and the output value of animal husbandry in the north of Jiangsu accounted for about 70％of the whole province,the northern and central Jiangsu accounted for about 90％of the total,the main livestock and poultry species in the northern and central Jiangsu have formed an obvious industrial cluster.Livestock and poultry genetic resources were relatively rich and effectively protected,and the unit for the protection of varieties was leading the country,the number of national core farm and expansion base was the fourth in China,and the main livestock and poultry production performance testing center has been built,a total of 20 state-level new livestock and poultry breeds were bred.The scale of livestock and poultry was higher than the national average,and the scale rate of layers,broilers and cows has reached more than 95％,the formation of feed,veterinary drugs,slaughtering,processing,marketing and other more perfected industrial chain.Practical production techniques such as building pig and broiler cage raising have been well applied,and the rate of livestock production has increased greatly,the output of livestock and poultry per unit land area was high.The farm and abattoir were cleaned up,and the comprehensive utilization rate of feces and the centralized treatment rate of sick and dead animals were all over 95％,thus realizing green and safe production.
