Evaluation on the adaptability of different sweet sorghum and sorghum bicolor×sudanense varieties in the western foot of Daxing'an mountains
In order to screen out the resources of Sorghum bicolor×sudanense and sweet sorghum suitable for planting in the western part of the Hulunbeier Ridge, and to explore the relationship between the main agronomic traits of high-quality forage grasses and the hay yield, this experiment used four Sorghum bicolor×sudanense and two sweet sorghums as the experimental materials, and observed the indicators of agronomic traits, yield, and nutritive quality of the varieties,as well as carried out grey correlation analysis and affiliation function analysis. The results showed that there were significant differences in agronomic traits, yield and nutritional quality among the varieties(P<0.05).Variety FS3501 had the highest yield,CP and NFC content and the lowest ADF content;Heibei had the highest EE and Ca content. The grey correlation analysis showed that the number of leaves and leaf width were closely related to the hay yield.Comprehensive analysis showed that among the six varieties,FS3501 and Heibei had better comprehensive evaluation and were suitable for large-scale promotion of planting in the western part of the Hulunbeier Ridge.
