Effect of supplementation of compound emulsifier to partially replace rice bran oil in the growth performance, carcass quality, organ indexes and serum biochemical indices of broilers chickens
This study was conducted to investigate the effect of compound emulsifier replacing rice bran oil partly on growth performance, carcass traits, organ index and serum biochemical indices of broilers.A total of 108 day-old chicks were randomly divided into 3 treatments with 3 replicates per treatment and 12 broilers per replicate. The control group was fed basal diet, the experimental group A was supplement 150 g/t compound emulsifier to the low energy diet(metabolizable energy decreased by 0.23 MJ/kg at basal diet level),the experimental group B was supplement 150 g/t compound emulsifier to the low energy diet(metabolizable energy decreased by 0.43 MJ/kg at basal diet level). The experimental period was 42 days. Results showed as follows:(1)Compared with the control group, the experimental group B significantly increased the body weight gain of broilers from 1 to 21 days(P<0.05),which increased by 14.00%.There were no differences in growth performance in other stages, the percentage of dressing and abdominal fat, liver index, spleen index and serum biochemical indices of broilers after adding compound emulsifier with lower dietary metabolizable energy;(2)Under the condition that dietary metabolizable energy decreased by 0.23 MJ/kg and 0.43 MJ/kg supplement compound emulsifier could increase net profits by 0.89 RMB/feather and 0.11 RMB/feather,respectively.and the input-output ratio was 1∶14.83 and 1∶1.57,respectively.In conclusion, when dietary metabolizable energy was decreased, the addition of compound emulsifier could compensate for the decrease in dietary metabolizable energy, improve the performance of broilers in early stage, and increase the economic benefits of broilers.
