Effects of oregano oil on growth performance, immune performance and economic effectiveness of fattening pigs
In order to explore the effect of oregano oil on the growth performance, immune performance and economic effectiveness of fattening pigs.In this experiment,200(Duroc×Landrace×Large White)ternary crossbred fattening pigs with good health status and weight of about 50kg were randomly divided into 4 groups, and and each group was set with 5 replicates, with 10 pigs in each replicate. The fattening pigs in the control group were fed basal diet, and the three treatment groups were fed with 100,200 mg/kg,and 300 mg/kg oregano oil respectively, and the test was 45 days in total, including 3 days of pre-test and 42 days of trial period. The results showed that:1)Feed addition of 100,200,300 mg/kg oregano oil could significantly increase the ADG of fattening pigs(P<0.05),significantly reduce F/G(P<0.05),and the addition of 200 mg/kg and 300 mg/kg oregano oil could significantly increase the ADFI of fattening pigs(P<0.05).2)Feed addition of 200 mg/kg and 300 mg/kg oregano oil could significantly increase the contents of IgA and IgG in the serum of fattening pigs(P<0.05),and significantly reduce the contents of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-10(P<0.05).3)Feed addition of 100,200,300 mg/kg oregano oil can significantly reduce the weight gain cost of fattening pigs(P<0.05)and the cost to gain ratio was significantly increase of fattening pigs(P<0.05).And when the addition amount was 200 mg/kg,the effect was the most obvious.
