Effects of adding different proportions of fermented soybean residue to the diet on growth performance, nutrient apparent digestibility, and serum biochemical indicators of fattening pigs
The article aimed to explore the effects of adding different proportions of fermented soybean residue to the diet on the growth performance, nutrient apparent digestibility, and serum biochemical indicators of fattening pigs.100 90 day old hybrid fattening pigs with good growth and physical condition were randomly divided into 4 groups, with 5 replicates in each group and 5 pigs in each replicate. The experimental diet used 0%,3%,6%,and 9%fermented soybean residue instead of soybean residue in the base diet. The experiment lasted for 100 days, with 7 days of pre testing and 93 days of formal testing. The experimental results showed that, under the premise of no significant difference in initial body weight(P>0.05),compared with the control group, using 6%and 9%fermented soybean residue instead of soybean residue significantly increased the final body weight of fattening pigs by 3.87%and 4.58%,respectively(P<0.05);The average daily weight gain significantly increased by 7.5%and 8.6%,respectively(P<0.05);The material to weight ratio significantly decreased by 5.2%and 6.5%,respectively(P<0.05).In addition, the use of fermented soybean residue instead of soybean residue had no significant effect on the average daily feed intake of fattening pigs(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, using 6%and 9%fermented soybean residue instead of soybean residue significantly improved the apparent digestibility of crude protein and crude fat in fattening pigs(P<0.05);In addition, the use of fermented soybean residue instead of soybean residue had no significant effect on the apparent digestibility of dry matter, energy, and crude ash in fattening pigs(P>0.05).Replacing soybean residue with 6%and 9%fermented soybean residue can significantly increase the total serum protein and albumin content of fattening pigs(P<0.05);Compared with the control group, using 3%to 9%fermented soybean residue instead of soybean residue significantly reduced the serum urea nitrogen content of fattening pigs(P<0.05);In addition, the use of fermented soybean residue instead of soybean residue had no significant effect on the serum GLB content and AST,ALT,and ALP activities of fattening pigs(P>0.05).In summary, using fermented soybean residue instead of soybean residue can promote the growth and development of fattening pigs by increasing the apparent digestibility of nutrients and improving serum biochemical indicators.
