The effects of fermented peanut meal on antioxidant indicators and gene expression in broiler liver, and economic benefits in broiler
The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of fermented peanut meal on liver antioxidant indicators and related gene expression, and economic benefits in broiler.720 healthy broiler chickens were randomly divided into 4 groups, each with 9 replicates, with 20 chickens per replicate.Microbial enzyme synergy was used to ferment peanut meal, using 0%,2%,4%,and 8%fermented peanut meal instead of peanut meal as feed for each group. The experiment lasted for a total of 42 days. The use of 4%~8%fermented peanut meal significantly increased the T-SOD and CAT enzyme activities in the liver of broiler chickens(P<0.05);The use of 8%fermented peanut meal significantly improved the T-AOC ability of broiler liver(P<0.05);The use of 4%~8%fermented peanut meal significantly reduced the MDA content in the liver of broiler chickens(P<0.05);In addition, adding fermented peanut meal to the diet had no significant effect on the activities of SOD 1 and GPX enzymes in the liver of broiler chickens. The addition of 2%fermented peanut meal significantly reduced the expression level of GPX1 gene in the liver of broiler chickens(P<0.05);The addition of 4%and 8%fermented peanut meal significantly increased the expression levels of SOD 3 and CAT genes in the liver of broiler chickens(P<0.05);The addition of 8%fermented peanut meal significantly increased the expression levels of SOD 2 and GST genes in the liver of broiler chickens(P<0.05);Fermented peanut meal had no significant effect on the expression level of SOD1 gene in the liver of broiler chickens(P>0.05).The cost of feed is 2.874,2.880,2.886,and 2.892 yuan; The feed costs are 7.22,7.30,7.24,and 7.36 yuan respectively;Based on comprehensive calculations, the gross profit was 8.24,8.61,8.92,and 9.34 yuan, respectively. The gross profit of the 4%and 8%substitution groups was significantly higher than that of the control group(P>0.05).In summary, under the conditions of this experiment, the 8%substitution group had the best economic benefits.
