Effects of fermented-maotai distiller'grain with solubles on laying performance, egg quality, fecal microorganisms of laying hens
The experiment was to investigate the effect of different levels of fermented-maotai distillers'grain with solubles(FMDGS)on the laying performance, egg quality, fecal microorganisms in laying hens.A total of 1200 healthy Roman pink laying hens at 30 weeks of age with the same physical condition were divided into control groups and 3 experiment groups. The control group was fed the basal diet, and experiment group Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ were respectively added 1.5%fermented-maotai distiller'grain(FMDG),1.5%and 1%FMDGS to the basal diet, containing 5 replicates with 60 hens respectively. The pre-feeding lasted for 10 days, and the formal feeding lasted for 40 days. The results showed that:Compared with the control group, laying rate of experiment group Ⅱ,Ⅲ significantly increased respectively 0.78 percentage points and 1.43 percentage points from 21 days to 40 days and experiment groups tended to increase laying rate at 40 days(P=0.08);Moreover,compared with the control group, the egg shape index of experiment group Ⅱ significantly increased(P<0.05);Furthermore,Bacillus in the feces of laying hens of experiment groups significantly increased(P<0.05).Dietary 1.5%FMDG,1.5%and 1%FMDGS supplementation could improve laying performance of laying hens to varying degree, increase egg quality and promote proliferation of fecal microbes.Taken together, dietary 1.5%FMDGS supplementation result in the best performance and effect in terms of laying performance, egg quality and fecal microbes for laying hens.
