The purpose of this experiment was to determine the effects of different feeding densities on the performance of Ross 308 white broilers.297 7-day-old broilers were randomly divided into 3 groups, group Ⅰ(13 broilers/m2),group Ⅱ(20 broilers/m2)and group Ⅲ(27 broilers/m2),with 9 replicates per group for 32 days. The results showed that the daily gain of broilers in group Ⅰwas significantly higher than that in group Ⅱ and Ⅲ(P<0.05);Feed intake of broilers in groupⅠwas significantly higher thanthat in group Ⅱ and Ⅲ(P<0.05);The feed-meat ratio of broilers in group Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ was not significantly different, and the difference between groups was not significant(P>0.05).Feeding density had little effect on the survival rate of broilers.Comprehensive analysis shows that 13 broilers/m2 is better under this test condition.
