The effects of fermented soybean meal replacing fish meal on the growth performance, body shape index, and plasma biochemical indicators of black spotted frog
(Experimental objective)To explore the effects of fermented soybean meal replacing fish meal on the growth performance, body shape index, and plasma biochemical indicators of the black spotted frog.(Experimental design)800 healthy black spotted frogs with the same initial weight[(2.7±0.1)g]were incubated in the same batch and randomly divided into 20 breeding test pools. Each of the 5 test pools was used as a group. The experiment used 0%,10%,20%,and 40%fermented soybean meal instead of fish meal in the basic diet as the experimental feed. The breeding experiment lasted for 60 days.(Experimental results)Using 20%and 40%fermented soybean meal instead of fish meal in the basic diet significantly reduced the final body weight of black spotted frogs by 6.80%and 7.49%(P<0.05);The weight gain rate of the black spotted frog significantly decreased by 7.84%and 7.44%,respectively(P<0.05);The specific growth rates of the black spotted frog were significantly reduced by 3.05%and 2.89%,respectively(P<0.05);In addition, fermented soybean meal had no significant effect on the survival rate, feeding rate, and feed coefficient of the black spotted frog(P>0.05).The use of 20%and 40%fermented soybean meal instead of fish meal in the basic diet significantly reduced the fat content and liver to body ratio of the black spotted frog(P<0.05);The use of 20%and 40%fermented soybean meal instead of fish meal in the base diet significantly reduced the body ratio of the black spotted frog(P<0.05);In addition, adding fermented soybean meal to the diet had no significant effect on the hind leg index and organ index of the black spotted frog(P>0.05).The use of 20%and 40%fermented soybean meal instead of fish meal in the basic diet significantly reduced the plasma TG and HDL content of black spotted frog(P<0.05);The use of 20%and 40%fermented soybean meal instead of fish meal in the basic diet significantly increased the plasma TC content of the black spotted frog(P<0.05);In addition, the use of fermented soybean meal instead of fish meal in the basic diet had no significant effect on the plasma LDL content,AST and ALT activities of the black spotted frog(P>0.05).(Experimental conclusion)The use of fermented soybean meal instead of fish meal(20%and 40%)has a significant negative impact on the growth performance of the black spotted frog.Under the experimental conditions, the optimal substitution amount is 10%.
