Effects of biological fertilizer on yield indexes, stress resistance and antioxidant properties of quinoa
This study was conducted to explore the effects of biological fertilizer instead of conventional fertilizer on yield index, stress resistance and antioxidant properties of quinoa. The experimental crop variety was Zhongli NO.1,and the number of effective viable bacteria of biological fertilizer was not less than 0.2×108/g.Six treatments were set up in the experiment.Treatment 1 was used as blank group, completely using conventional chemical fertilizer, and treatment 2~6 was used as biological fertilizer group, with 6 replicates per treatment. In blank group, conventional fertilizer was added, and biological fertilizer groups 2~6 were replaced by 15%,30%,45%,60%and 75%conventional fertilizer, respectively. At the 80th and 150th day after sowing, samples were taken for the indicators needed to be measured in the sequence stage and maturity stage of quinoa. The results showed as follows:compared with blank group,thousand-grain weight and protein content of quinoa were significantly increased by using biological fertilizer instead of 60%and 75%conventional fertilizer(P<0.05).Compared with the blank group, the relative water content and chlorophyll content of quinoa leaves were significantly increased by using biological fertilizer instead of 60%and 75%conventional fertilizer, and the contents of proline and soluble sugar in roots were significantly decreased(P<0.05).Compared with blank group, substituting 60%and 75%conventional fertilizer with biological fertilizer very significantly increased the contents of total phenols and flavonoids in quinoa grains, and the activities of superoxide dismutase in leaves, and very significantly decreased the content of malondialdehyde in leaves(P<0.01).In conclusion, replacing 60%conventional fertilizer with biological fertilizer can significantly improve the yield index, stress resistance and antioxidant properties of quinoa.
