Advances progress of oligopeptides in improving the growth performance,intestinal health and quality of animals
Oligopeptides,including dipeptides and tripeptides,one of the protein decomposition products,not only have a high absorption and utilization efficiency in animal intestines,but also have a variety of biological functions,can actively regulate antioxidation,immunity,muscle fiber,and intestine development in animals.Oligopeptides have broad prospects in the field of animal feed additives.In this paper,the research progress of the effects of oligopeptides on animal growth performance and intestinal health was reviewed,the regulation mechanism of oligopeptides on animal physiological function and muscle quality was introduced,and the research prospect of oligopeptides was forecasted,in order to provide a reference for the follow-up research and development of oligopeptides drugs and the improvement of oligopeptides feed formula.
