Effects of different production processes and supplemental levels of Lys and Met on the dissolution loss of crystal amino acids in feed
The effects of different production processes(feed type, feed size)and supplemental levels of Lys and Met on the dissolution loss of crystal amino acids in feed were studied. The results showed that:(1)The feed types had an impact on the dissolution rate of crystal lysine in water. After soaking for 30 min,the crystal lysine dissolution rate of the extruded floating shrimp feed was the highest(73.85%),significantly higher than that of the extruded sinking shrimp feed(66.05%)and non-extruded pellet shrimp feed(50.84%).(2)In the early stage of soaking(5,15 min),the feed particle size had no significant effect on the dissolution rate of crystal lysine in the extruded sinking crab feed. After 30 min,the dissolution rate of crystalline lysine in the feed had significantly increase with the decrease of feed particle size.(3)The different levels of Lys and Met addition had not affect the dissolution rate of crystal lysine and crystal methionine in water of extruded floating feed.(4)The dissolution rate of crystalline lysine was significantly lower than that of crystalline methionine after soaking the feed. Therefore,in the actual production process of shrimp and crab feed,it was necessary to consider the dissolution of crystalline amino acids and the level addition of crystalline amino acids in the formula. At the same time, when the conditions comply with animal feeding habits, choosing produce non-extruded pellet feed with larger particle size may greatly reduce the dissolution rate of crystalline amino acids in water.
