The relationship between cats and people,as important family members,has received increasing attention,particularly in relation to intestinal flora.This paper discussed changes in the intestinal flora of both humans and cats in different health states(e.g.,obesity and allergy),as well as the impact of pets on the health and intestinal flora of their owners.This paper aimed to draw attention to the importance of studying the healthy direction of the intestinal flora in both pet owners and cats.Further research in this area could contribute to realizing a healthy and harmonious relationship between humans and pets.
