Effects of composite probiotics on growth performance and serum immune indicators in puppies
This experiment aims to investigate the effects of Compound Probiotics(CP)on the growth performance and serum immune indicators of puppies.Select 60 10 week old Teddy puppies with similar weight and randomly divide them into 4 groups, with 3 replicates in each group and 5 in each replicate. Each group of puppies was fed with a basic diet of+0g/d,0.5g/d,1.0g/d,and 1.5g/d of composite probiotic dry powder, and recorded as the CP0 group,CP 0.5 group,CP 1.0 group, and CP 1.5 group. The experimental period was 4 weeks. The results showed that:(1)Compared with the CP0 group, the CP 1.0 group significantly increased the final weight and average daily gain of puppies by 5.00%and 12.55%(P<0.05).The diarrhea rate of puppies in the CP 0.5,CP 1.0,and CP 1.5 groups was significantly reduced(P<0.05),and the diarrhea rate of puppies in the CP 1.0 and CP 1.5 groups was significantly lower than that in the CP 0.5 group(P<0.05).(2)Compared with the CP0 group, the serum IgA content in the CP 1.0 group was significantly increased(P<0.05),while the serum IgA,IgG,and IgM content in the CP 1.5 group were significantly increased(P<0.05).(3)Compared with the CP0 group,TNF in the serum of puppies in the CP 1.5 group-α The content significantly decreased(P<0.05),and the IL-10 content in the serum of puppies in the CP 1.0 and CP 1.5 groups significantly increased(P<0.05).Conclusion:Adding composite probiotics to the basic diet can promote the growth and development of puppies, reduce diarrhea rate, and improve serum immune indicators. When the level of composite probiotics added is 1.0 g/d,the growth performance of puppies is the best; When the addition level of composite probiotics is 1.5g/d,the serum immune indicators of puppies are optimal.
