Effects of mulberry leaf extract on production performance, serum biochemical indicators and egg quality of laying hens
The purpose of the experiment is to study the effect of mulberry leaf extract(MLE)on the production performance, egg quality and serum biochemical index of laying hens.In the experiment,400 five black laying hens were randomly divided into 4 groups. Each group of laying hens were fed with basic diet+0 mg/kg(Group Ⅰ),100 mg/kg(Group Ⅱ),200 mg/kg(Group Ⅲ)and 400 mg/kg(Group Ⅳ)mulberry leaf extract. Each group was repeated 5 times, each group was repeated, and the test period was 7 weeks. The results showed that(1)compared with Group Ⅰ,the egg-laying ratio of Group Ⅲ was significantly reduced(P<0.05),the egg-laying rate of Group Ⅳ was significantly improved(P<0.05),and the egg-to-material ratio decreased significantly(P<0.05).(2)Compared with Group Ⅰ,the color of egg yolk and Hasten identity of Group Ⅲ and Ⅳincreased significantly(P<0.05).(3)Compared with group Ⅰ,the serum content of glucose in group Ⅲ laying hens decreased significantly(P<0.05);the serum of low-density lipoprotein and glucose in group Ⅳ laying hens decreased significantly(P<0.05).In summary, adding 200 and 400 mg/kg mulberry leaf extracts to the basic diet of five black laying hens can improve the production performance, egg quality and serum biochemical index of broilers,of which the addition level is 400 mg/kg.
