Research progress on the effect of breeding density on broiler chickens
High breeding density can reduce the production cost,but it will also cause stress of broilers,and bring negative effects on their performance,immune function,intestinal flora and animal welfare.This paper reviewed the effects of breeding density on broiler performance,oxidative stress,immune function,intestinal microbes,economic benefits,etc,and summarized the methods to solve the negative effects brought by high density breeding from the perspective of feeding management and nutritional regulation,so as to provide reference for determining the appropriate breeding density of broiler chickens in production and ensuring animal welfare.
