Research progress on the application of palm oil in fish compound feed
The rapid development of the global aquaculture industry,has contributed to a significant increase in fish oil consumption,resulting in a continuous shortage of fish oil supply and rising prices in the feed oil source market.Therefore,finding candidates to replace fish oil has become one of the important issues in the aquafeed sector.Palm oil is a vegetable oil with a wide cultivation area and huge production,and has been widely used in industries such as feed,food,chemical industry,pharmaceutical,biomass energy.This paper reviewed the progress of palm oil application in fish formulated feed,aimed to provide the useful reference for the rational application of palm oil in practical feed formulations of fish.
