Effects of dietary fiber supplementation with different doses of yeast on production performance, egg quality and immune indexes of laying hens
In order to study the effects of different doses of yeast dietary fiber on the performance, egg quality and immunoglobulin of laying hens,270 35-week-old Highland brown commercial laying hens were divided into 5 treatment groups with 6 replicates in each group and 9 hens in each replication.the control group was fed with basal diet and the experimental group was fed with yeast dietary fiber of 1,3,6,12 kg/t respectively. At the end of the experiment, the production performance, egg quality and immune index of laying hens were counted. The results showed that when the dosage of yeast dietary fiber reached 6 kg/t,the average feed intake of laying hens was significantly increased, the breakage rate of eggs was decreased, and the egg weight also increased. At the same time, yeast dietary fiber could significantly increase the contents of IgA,IgG and IgM in serum of laying hens. The above results suggested that adding yeast dietary fiber 6 kg/t or more to the diet could improve the production performance, egg quality and immunity of laying hens.
