Effects of different feed additives on production performance, milk composition and methane emission in mashan black goats
The experiment aims to investigate the effects of different feed additives on the production performance, milk composition, and methane emissions of goats.Select 40 healthy and consistent lactating goats and randomly divide them into 4 groups, with 10 goats in each group. The control group was fed with a basic diet, while the experimental group was supplemented with 0.1%organic acids,Chinese herbal medicine, and probiotics on the basis of the basic diet. The pre trial period was 10 days, and the main trial period was 45 days. The results showed that in terms of production performance, the milk production of the three experimental groups was significantly improved compared to the control group(P<0.05),while the feed to milk ratio of the probiotic group was significantly reduced(P<0.05);In terms of the impact on milk composition, the traditional Chinese medicine and probiotics groups showed a significant increase in milk fat percentage and milk protein compared to the control group(P<0.05);In terms of methane emissions, all three experimental groups showed significant reductions compared to the control group(P<0.05).Overall comparison, the probiotic group has the most significant impact on goat production performance, changes in milk composition, and reduction of methane emissions.
