The difference of metabolites in mutton from southern Xinjiang was analyzed based on LC-MS non-targeted metabolomics
Duolang sheep, which were widely reared in southern Xinjiang, were fed with a mixture of β-adrenoceptor agonists including Clenbuterol,Ractopamine, salbutamol for 21 days, mutton samples were slaughtered at 7,14 and 21 days, the LC-MS non-targeted metabolome method was used to analyze the metabolic differences between samples fed with β-agonist mixed reagents and those not fed with β-agonist mixed reagents, and to screen for differential metabolites and functional annotations. The results:β-agonist treatment co-enriched metabolic pathways at three different time points pentose phosphate pathway,Pantothenates,Coenzyme a biosynthesis,Glutathione metabolism, the pentose phosphate metabolic pathway is very significant. The key metabolites involved in pentose phosphate metabolism are 6 glucose phosphate,5-phosphate-D-ribulose,4-phosphate-D-erythritose.These metabolites can be used as reference markers to detect β-adrenoceptor agonist residues in mutton from southern Xinjiang.
