Effects of lentinan and qiqing baidu granules on weaned piglets growth performance,immune indexes,and control of PRRS
This study aimed to understand the effects of lentinan and qiqing baidu granules on weaned piglets'growth performance,immune indexes and control of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome(PRRS).During a 28-day trial period,a total of 500 weaned piglets were randomly divide into 2 groups with 5 replicates per group,each with 50 replicates,the experimental group,which received herbal extracts in their feed,and the control group.The weaned piglets'growth performance,some immune indexes,PRRS antibody levels,the positive rate of PRRSV were tested and analyzed.The results showed that in terms of growth performance,compared with the control group,the weight gain and average daily gain(ADG)of experimental group was increased by 5.03％and 3.45％respectively(P＜0.05),the ratio of feed to gain(F/G)of experimental group was significantly decreased by 2.12％(P＜0.05).The incidence rate of weaned piglets in the test group was reduced by 63.64％significantly(P＜0.01).The survival rate increased by 2.93％significantly(P＜0.05);In terms of serum immune indexes,on day 14,the IgA of the experimental group increased by 5.88％significantly(P＜0.05).On day 28,the IgA and IgG levels in the experimental group increased by 5.74％and 5.77％significantly(P＜0.05),TNF-α and IL-6 decreased by 4.64％and 10.19％significantly(P＜0.05).In terms of antibody testing,on day 28,the average S/P of the experimental group decreased by 22.81％significantly(P＜0.05),the dispersion decreased from 65.12％to 55.24％,and the proportion of S/P ≥2.0 decreased from 24.00％to 8.00％.These results indicated that the use of lentinan and qiqing baidu granules could effectively improved weaned piglets'growth performance,enhance immunity,maintain stable PRRSV antibody,effectively controling the PRRS.
