Forage grass mixed silage technology and its application in animal production
Forage grass is an important source of roughage for herbivores.Silage can reduce the volume of grass and facilitate storage.However,some grass has the problems of high water content and low water soluble carbohydrate content,and the fermentation quality of grass silage directly is poor.The mixed silage technology can play the characteristics of different raw materials,form a complementation,and effectively improve the quality of grass silage.This paper analyzed the affecting factors of mixed silage quality,summarized the types of mixed silage technology and its application in animal production.
