To investigate the effects of Astragalus polysaccharides on the growth, digestive function, and body indicators of Micropterus salmoides,600 M.salmoides were selected in this study, and a control group(fed with basic diet,FB),treatment group 1(FB+500mg/kg Astragalus polysaccharides),treatment group 2(FB+1000 mg/kg Astragalus polysaccharides),and treatment group 3(FB+1500 mg/kg Astragalus polysaccharides)were set up for a cultivation period of 56 days. The results showed that different amounts of Astragalus polysaccharides added were beneficial for improving the weight gain rate of M.salmoides(P<0.05)and treatment group 2 showed the highest weight gain rate; The treatment groups showed significant decrease in feed coefficient compared to the control group(P<0.05),and the feed coefficient of treatment group 2 was the lowest.Different amounts of Astragalus polysaccharides added are beneficial for improving the plumpness, organ to body ratio, and liver to body ratio of M.salmoides(P<0.05);The protease, amylase, and lipase activities, apparent digestibility, and protein apparent digestibility in the stomach and intestines of each treatment group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Moreover,with the increase of astragalus polysaccharide addition, the protease, amylase, lipase activities, apparent digestibility, and protein apparent digestibility in the stomach and intestines showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing, all reaching their highest levels at a dosage of 1000 mg/kg.It is believed that adding an appropriate amount of Astragalus polysaccharides to the diet can improve the growth performance and body indicators of M.salmoides.
