Optimization of fermentation conditions for Bacillus subtilis HAINUP40
Bacillus subtilis is a highly effective microbial agent and water quality improver. To increase the viable count of probiotic B.subtilis fermentation, using probiotic strain Bacillus subtilis HAINUP40(screened in our previous work)as the experimental strain.Firstly determined the three major influencing factors that(temperature, initial pH,and liquid volume)affect the protease activity, antagonistic activity and viable account basing on the result of single-factor experiment.By response surface analysis, the strain's fermentation conditions were further optimized and a perfect combination of pH 7.5,liquid volume 62.69 mL,and temperature 37℃ was achieved. This study provided data support and a theoretical basis for this probiotic strain's industrial cultivation and production application.
