Effects of different additives on ensilage quality'Reyan No.4'king grass with high moisture content
The purpose of this experiment was to explore the effects of different additives on ensilage quality'Reyan No.4'king grass with high moisture content.Three treatment groups(group A,group B,group C)and control group(CK)were set up with 3 replicates in each group.Samples were analyzed after 90 days of fermentation. The results showed that the dry matter content of each treatment group was not significantly different from that of CK group. The contents of crude protein, crude fat, crude ash, lignin, neutral detergent fiber, acid detergent fiber and P in all treatment groups were lower than those in CK group. The content of Ca in all treatment groups were higher than that in CK group, the content of soluble carbohydrate in group C was the highest, and all feeding value indexes in all treatment groups were higher than those in CK group. After being treated with additives,pH of group A was the lowest, ammonia nitrogen/total nitrogen of group C was the lowest.Lactic acid content of all treatment groups were lower than that of CK group, acetic acid content were higher than that of CK group, and butyric acid content of C group was the highest.According to the comprehensive score of fermentation quality, the score of each treatment group was lower than that of CK group.By using the average membership function value to compare the silage quality of each treatment and CK group, group B had the best silage quality. In conclusion, adding microbial additive can improve the nutritional quality of king grass to a certain extent. The silage quality of group A and group B can also be improved except group C,but the fermentation quality cannot be improved. The selection of additives still need further research in order to better promote the silage utilization of high moisture king grass.
