Effects of composite microecological formulations on growth performance, immune function and water quality of grass carp
This experiment aims to study the effects of composite microecological formulations(CMF)on the growth performance, immune function and water quality of grass carp.Method:240 grass carp seedlings from the same batch with a weight of(16.51±1.03)g were selected and randomly divided into 4 groups. They were fed with composite microecological formulations at the levels of basic feed+0% (CMF0 group),0.1% (CMF1 group),0.2% (CMF2 group),and 0.3% (CMF3 group),respectively. Each group had 3 replicates, with 20 fish per replicate. The experiment lasted for 60 days and did not change water, oxygenate,or use disinfectants throughout the entire period.Result:(1)Compared with the CMF0 group, the CMF2 group and CMF3 group significantly increased the final weight, weight gain rate, and specific growth rate of grass carp(P<0.05),while the feed coefficient significantly decreased(P<0.05).The growth performance of grass carp in CMF2 group was better than that in CMF3 group, but the difference was not significant(P>0.05).(2)Compared with the CMF0 group, the concentrations of superoxide dismutase, catalase, and lysozyme in the serum of grass carp in the CMF1,CMF2,and CMF3 groups were significantly increased(P<0.05).(3)Compared with the CMF0 group, the dissolved oxygen content in the water of the CMF1 group,CMF2 group, and CMF3 group significantly increased on the 45th and 60th day(P<0.05),while the nitrite content significantly decreased(P<0.05).Compared with the CMF0 group, the ammonia nitrogen content in the water of the CMF2 and CMF3 groups significantly decreased on the 30th,45th,and 60th day(P<0.05).Conclusion:Different levels of composite microecological formulations can improve the growth performance, immune function and water quality of grass carp.Taking into account economic benefits, the appropriate amount of compound microecological agents added is 0.2% .
