Study on the inhibitory effect of dandelion extract on the common pathogenic Vibrio of Litopenaeus vannamei
This experiment aimed to explore the inhibitory effect of dandelion extract on common Vibrio pathogens of Litopenaeus vannamei.Distilled water and ofloxacin antimicrobial susceptibility paper discs were used as negative and positive references, and the K-B discs and 2-fold dilution methods were used to detect the in vitro antibacterial activity, minimum bacteriostatic concentration(MIC)and minimum bactericidal concentration(MBC)of dandelion extract against five different Vibrio pathogens of L.vannamei.0.167 g/mL dandelion extract had obvious inhibitory effects on Vibrio mediterranean,Vibrio algaelyticus,Vibrio harvey,Vibrio brasilis, and Vibrio parahaemolyticus, among which the most inhibitory effect was on V.mediterranean.The MIC of V.mediterranean,V.harvey,and V.parahaemolyticus were 21,42,84 mg/mL,respectively,and the MBC was 21,84,84 mg/mL,respectively.The MIC for V.algalinolyticus and V.brasiliensis was 21 mg/mL and 42 mg/mL for MBC.In particular, dandelion extract had the best antibacterial and bactericidal effect on V.mediterranean.It could be seen that dandelion extract had a good inhibitory effect on common Vibrio pathogens in L.vannamei.
