Effect of cutting period on biomass and nutrient quality of feed Brassica napus
In order to evaluate the effects and stability of biomass and nutrient content under different mowing times in feed Brassica napus, the mowing time in initial flowering stage, full flowering stage and final flowering stage of Shengsi No.2(feed Brassica napus)were selected as experimental factor.A single factor randomized block design was used to study the effects of mowing time, planting sites and their interaction on biomass and nutrient content on Shengsi No.2.The results showed that the fresh weight and dry weight of Shengsi No.2 were very significantly affected by mowing time and planting location, but the interaction effect had no significant effect on both fresh weight and dry weight. The crude protein, crude ash, calcium, phosphorus, crude fiber, neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber content were very significantly affected by planting location except crude fat content. The crude protein and crude ash were not significantly affected by cutting period, but a significantly difference was detected on phosphorus contents and a very significantly difference was detected on other nutritional ingredient between cutting periods. There were no significantly difference on crude protein, crude fat and crude ash under interaction effect of planting site and mowing period except on other nutrients. The stability analysis showed that the content of fresh weight, crude protein,Calcium content and Phosphorus in full flowering period had the least variability in the two plots. In addition, the content of dry weight, crude fat, coarse ash, crude fiber, neutral washing fiber and acid washing fiber in initial flowering stage also had the least variability in the two plots. However, the best mowing time was final flowering stage and the suitable planting plot was Qianxi county considered of the yield of dry matter and nutrients of feed Brassica napus Shengsi No.2.
