Screening and whole-genome sequencing analysis of Escherichia coli bacteriocins against piglet diarrhea
Screening for efficient and stable lactic acid bacteria bacteriocins against Escherichia coli.A strain of Lactobacillus plantarum isolated and identified from kimchi in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, named LT-1,the bacteriocin produced had the best bacteriostatic effect when the pH was 3,and the thermal stability was good, after 100℃ treatment, its bacteriostatic activity was slightly reduced, and the bacteriocin produced was more sensitive to papain, pepsin and proteinase K.The bacteriocin produced by LT-1 had good bacteriostatic activity against Escherichia coli ATCC25922 and clinical isolates of Escherichia coli.Whole genome sequencing of LT-1 predicted the bacteriocin-coding gene cluster, which mainly encodes lactococcin, enterococcin, and bacteriocin immunoproteins. The bacteriocins screened in this institute had good antibacterial activity, which laid a good foundation for the research and development of Escherichia coli anti-antibody products.
