Study on the effects of heat stress on the growth performance of piglets and prevention and control measures
Heat stress response has a negative impact on the feed intake,immune ability,and intestinal function of piglets. This article reviews and analyzes the impact of heat stress response on the growth performance of piglets,and proposes prevention and control measures to reduce the impact of heat stress response:selecting insulation building materials for pig house construction,using green plants and trees to decorate the pig house,optimizing the internal environment of the pig house to reduce the temperature inside the pig house. Adjust the daily feeding time of piglets in the morning and evening,and implement a strategy of eating less and eating more meals;Adjust the feed composition and add feed additives such as crude fiber,vitamins,and trace elements to reduce the impact of heat stress on the growth performance of piglets.
