The effects of Chlorella+Bacillus subtilis on growth performance, antioxidant capacity and immune capacity of Siniperca chuatsi
The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of chlorella and Bacillus subtilis on growth performance, antioxidant capacity and immune capacity of Siniperca chuatsi.600 mandarin fish were selected for the experiment, and 4 groups were randomly set up:blank group(fed with basic feed),microalgae group(fed with basic feed+1.0%microalgae powder),Bacillus subtilis group(fed with basic feed+1.0%Bacillus subtilis),and microalgae+Bacillus subtilis group(fed with basic feed+1.0%microalgae powder+1.0%Bacillus subtilis). Each group had 3 replicates(50 fish per replicate),and the experimental period was 72 days. The research results found that:(1)Compared with the blank group, the weight gain rate of other groups of mandarin fish was higher, among which Chlorella vulgaris and Bacillus subtilis had the highest weight gain rate and a lower feed coefficient(P<0.05).(2)The total antioxidant capacity, total superoxide dismutase, and glutathione peroxidase of the Chlorella vulgaris+Bacillus subtilis group were significantly increased compared to the blank group, while the malondialdehyde content was reduced(P<0.05).(3)Compared with the blank group, the total protein content and lysozyme activity of the Chlorella vulgaris+Bacillus subtilis group were significantly higher, while the activities of alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase were significantly lower(P<0.05).Conclusion:Adding Chlorella and Bacillus subtilis to the feed can promote the growth performance, antioxidant capacity and immune capacity of Siniperca chuatsi to varying degrees, especially the synergistic effect of bacteria and algae is better.
