The economic benefits of different forage maize and their comparison with wheat and alfalfa
Corn and wheat are the two main food crops in China,which are mainly used for grain production in traditional agriculture,and with the continuous development of animal husbandry in China,their utilization rate in feed breeding has been continuously improved.There are many varieties of maize,but there is no great difference in the nutritional composition of common forage maize,and its economic value is different according to the planting area,biological yield,total digestible nutrients per unit area and ear rate.Alfalfa is an important feed raw material due to its abundant nutrients,and wheat has certain limitations in feed due to a large number of anti~nutritional factors,but it also shows good feed value after reasonable processing.In short,after rational processing and utilization,corn,wheat and alfalfa are used as feed in different livestock,all of which show certain economic benefits.
