Optimization of Microwave-assisted Extraction of Oat Polyphenols by Response Surface Method
Response surface method was applied to optimize the microwave-assisted extraction conditions of oat polyphenols, and a comparison was made between traditional hot water extraction and microwave-assisted extraction. The results showed that the optimum microwave-assisted extraction conditions were as follows: microwave power 1 000 W, microwave time 125s, the ratio of solid to liquid 1:45, ethanol concentration 50%. And the yield of oat polyphenols was 107.46 mg/100 g. By comparison with traditional hot water extraction method, microwave-assisted extraction method enhanced the yield of oat polyphenols by more than 55%, especially the contents of Be, Bp and Bf were raised extremely significantly (p<0.01), meanwhile the extraction time was 60 times shorter.
