Establish a high-throughput screening test platform and the database of the volatile potential migrants in 27 kinds of infant rubber nipples by Purge & Trap and gas chromatography-mass technique. The analysis conditions of Purge & Trap and GC-MS were optimized and the chromatographic peaks were qualitatived by NIST 11 spectrum library of mass spectrometry. The potential migrants were classified and the relevant regulations, restrictions and possible origins were listed in the database.98 chemical substances involved 11 categories were detected from 27 samples, which some split products, additives and monomers were emphasized as high focus substances. The method is simple,rapid,sensitive,eco-friendly and suitable for the high-throughput screening test of the volatile potential migrants of food contact rubber products. The ingredients of potential migrants in the database are complicated. Some substances not listed, not evaluated or with limited requirements were found, which is harmful to the infants, health. The confirmation and quantification, the migration behavior in foods and risk assessment for the emphasized substances will be the research focus in the future.
