This paper,by combing the concept and essence of drug utilization risk management,analyzes the theoretical and practical correspondence between risk management of drug utilization in healthcare institutions and pharmacovigilance by marketing authorization holders.It clarifies the similarities and differences between drug utilization risk management and pharmacovigilance,expounding the implementation direction and pathway of the drug utilization risk management system.This includes aspects such as adverse drug reaction monitoring,rational drug utilization,and post-marketing drug evaluation.The paper proposes specific recommendations and measures for collaboration between healthcare institutions and drug marketing authorization holders(MAH)to jointly practice drug utilization risk management.This work lays the foundation for the establishment of a drug risk management system and standards in healthcare institutions,fostering the safe utilization of drugs.
