新蛋白通过技术的升级变革,使用新型生产加工方式制造人们日常饮食所需的富含蛋白质的食品,主要包括植物基、细胞培养类以及发酵类食品.新蛋白作为应对全球粮食危机、提高食品系统韧性的有效方法在国际上受到广泛关注.细胞培养类食品因其生产方式与传统肉类食品具有显著性差异,需要进行具有针对性的安全风险评估和监管.至2023年,全球已有两个国家向细胞培养类食品发放市场准入许可,其他国家和地区也启动了相关工作,包括修订完善政策法规、起草新标准等.本文梳理了部分国家和地区对细胞培养类食品的监管现状,并进行了总结与展望.
Current Status of Global Regulation of Cultivated Meat and Insights Learned
Alternative proteins,including plant-based,cultivated,and fermentation-derived proteins,are produced through innovative and improved production methods for people's daily protein-rich diet.Alternative proteins have garnered significant attention as an effective means to address the food crisis and enhance the resilience of food systems globally.Cultivated meat and traditional meat products possess significant differences in the production process,hence,it is necessary to develop the safety and risk assessments and regulation framework accordingly.By 2023,two countries have approved cultivated meat products for sale,while other countries and regions have initiated relevant work,such as updating existing policies and regulations or drafting new standards.This article provides an overview of the current regulatory status of cultivated meat in various countries and regions and provides conclusions and perspectives.
