Status and Suggestions for Monitoring Pesticide Residues in Animal-Derived Food
Pesticide residues in animal-derived food have increasingly attracted attention and have become one of the main risk factors affecting the quality and safety of the food.At present, dietary exposure assessments and studies on maximum residue limits based on pesticide residues in animal-derived food are relatively scarce in China. Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the monitoring and research on pesticide residue risks in animal-derived food, establish a pesticide residue monitoring system, and utilize big data analysis for risk warning. This includes timely analysis and assessment of high-risk exposures, formulation of detection and limit standards, and overall improvement of regulatory oversight to ensure public food safety. This paper discusses the sources, detection standards, limit settings, and monitoring suggestions for pesticide residues in animal-derived food, aiming to provide references for the control of these residues.
