As a cost-effective health intervention,vaccination plays a vital role in controlling and eradicating infectious diseases.Following the immunization schedule and performing vaccination in a timely manner can ensure that the body generates an effective immune response.Compared with stand-alone vaccines,combined vaccines integrate multiple antigens,reduce the inconveniences caused by multiple injections,improve vaccination coverage,consolidate the immune barrier,and contribute positively to public health.With the continuous development of relevant disciplines and vaccine preparation technologies,an increasing number of combined vaccine products are being introduced,serving as essential components in immunization programs worldwide.This article summarizes the history and advantages of combined vaccines,the current status and trends in research and development,and the challenges faced,aiming to provide a reference for the development of combined vaccines in China.
