Advances in the Toughening and Reinforcing Modification of Epoxy Resin
Recent advances in the toughening and reinforcing modificationsof epoxy resin in China have been reviewed. The present status of epoxy resin toughened by nano-particles，liquid rubbers，thermoplastic resins，in-situ polymers，liquid crystalline polymers，core-shell elastic particles，macromolecular curing agents，and expansion monomers are introduced in detail. The toughening and reinforcing advantages and disadvantages and mechanism of the modifiers metioned above are also discussed．
