亚临界水挤出法制备ABS/木粉复合材料力学性能研究

在丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(ABS)和木粉的熔融挤出共混过程中,通过引入湿态挤出和亚临界水挤出的方法,研究了挤出温度和添加助剂品种对ABS/木粉复合材料的丙酮抽提物红外光谱及复合材料力学性能的影响,对复合材料的试样断面形貌进行了考查.结果表明,在ABS与木粉的湿态挤出或亚临界水挤出条件下,水或高压水的溶胀作用促进了界面处木纤维与ABS或马来酸酐接枝ABS(ABS-g-MAH)的反应,提高了界面结合强度,从而使复合材料力学性能明显提升;在亚临界水的最佳挤出工艺配方条件下(200℃挤出,含ABS-g-MAH5份),ABS/木粉复合材料的拉伸强度、弯曲强度、缺口冲击强度及无缺口冲击强度分别达到45.3 MPa、72.4 MPa、1.5 kJ/m2和6.5 kJ/m2.
Mechanical Properties of ABS/Wood Powder Composite Prepared by a Twin-screw Extruder with Subcritical Water
In this article ABS/wood powder composites were prepared by a twin screw extruder in presence of a small amount of water or subcritical water.The acetone extract of the composite was analyzed with FTIR,from which the effects of extrusion temperature and additive agents were investigated.And the fractured surface morphology of the composite was also observed.It was found that water swelling promoted the interface reaction between wood fiber and ABS or ABS-g-MAH,leading to an improvement of the interface bond strength and the mechanical properties of the composite.When the extruding condition was in the optimum value (at 200 ℃ and with 5 % of ABS-g-MAH) and in the presence of subcritical water,the tensile,flexural,notched and nonnotched impact strengths of the ABS/wood powder composite reached 45.3 MPa,72.4 MPa,1.5 kJ/m2,and 6.5 kJ/m2 respectively.
