提钛尾渣对聚丙烯材料力学性能的影响

以聚丙烯为基体,以提钛尾渣为无机填料,γ-甲基丙烯酰氧基丙基三甲氧基硅烷(KH-570)为改性剂,通过熔融共混法制备聚丙烯/提钛尾渣复合材料。利用万能试验机、扫描电子显微镜、差示扫描量热仪等测试复合材料的性能并探究其各种影响因素。结果表明,复合材料的拉伸强度与提钛尾渣添加量成反比;对提钛尾渣的水洗可以有效提高复合材料体系的拉伸强度;改性后尾渣在基体中分散性更好,以其制备的复合材料样品拉伸强度优于未改性样品,亲油性增强,亲水性变差;经筛选分级后提钛尾渣的粒径分布更加均匀,拉伸强度在添加量为10%、30%时性能均大于未筛选复合体系。
Effect of titanium tailings on mechanical properties of polypropylene materials
In this paper,a series of polypropylene(PP)-based composites were prepared through melt blending using tita-nium removal tailings as an inorganic filler and KH-570(γ-methylacryloxy propyl trimethoxysilane)as a coupling agent.The properties of the composites were characterized by using universal testing machine,scanning electron microscope,and differential scanning calorimeter(DSC),and the influencing factors were analyzed.The results indicated that the tensile strength of the composites was inversely proportional to the addition amount of titanium tailings.The tensile strength of the composites was effectively improved by washing titanium tailings.The modified slag has better dispersibil-ity in the matrix,the composite samples prepared by using the modified slag exhibited higher tensile strength than the un-modified sample.Meanwhile,their lipophilicity was enhanced,but their hydrophilicity was deteriorated.After screening and grading,the titanium tailings exhibited a more uniform particle-size distribution,and the composites presented higher tensile strength than the unscreened system at titanium tailing loadings of 10 and 30 wt%.
