采用氢过氧化物清除实验和热重分析对比研究了四(2,4-二叔丁基苯基)4,4-联苯基二亚磷酸酯(Hostanox P-EPQ)和三(2。4-二叔丁基苯基)亚磷酸酯(Irgafos 168)的抗氧化活性以及热稳定性能。结果显示:由于P-EPQ结构中含有更高的P含量以及特殊的P—C键,其表现出卓越的抗氧化性能和热稳定性。进而,选用受阻酚抗氧剂Irganox 1010和Irganox 1076与P-EPQ进行复配,对其在等规聚丙烯(iPP)中的抗氧化协同作用进行探究。复配抗氧剂所稳定的iPP在多次挤出过程中熔体体积流动速率(MVR)和黄度指数(YI)变化以及氧气气氛中的氧化诱导期(OIT)比较结果表明:抗氧剂1010与P-EPQ复配展现出显著的协同效应。当1010与P-EPQ的质量比为6/4时,稳定的iPP具有最佳综合稳定性能。此时,抗氧改性样品第五次挤出后的MVR和YI仅为纯iPP的19。8%和79。9%,而180℃下的OIT则从0。8 min显著延长至74。8 min。
Synergistic antioxidant effect of phosphonite P-EPQ and hindered phenol in polypropylene
Hydrogen peroxide clearance experiments and thermogravimetric analysis were conducted to compare the anti-oxidant activity and thermal stability of tetrakis(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl)4,4′-biphenylene diphosphonate(Hostanox P-EPQ)and tris(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl)phosphite(Irgafos 168).The results demonstrated that due to its higher phos-phorus content and unique P—C bond in the structure,P-EPQ exhibited superior antioxidant performance and thermal stability.Furthermore,hindered phenolic antioxidants Irganox 1010 and Irganox 1076 were selected to be compounded with P-EPQ to investigate their synergistic antioxidant effects in isotactic polypropylene(iPP).The comparison of chang-es in melt volume flow rate(MVR)and yellowing index(YI)during multiple extrusion,as well as the oxidation induc-tion period(OIT)in oxygen atmosphere of iPP stabilized by compound antioxidants indicated that the combination of an-tioxidant 1010 and P-EPQ exhibits a significant synergistic effect.When the mass ratio of 1010 to P-EPQ was 6/4,the stabilized iPP had the optimal overall stability performance.At this stage,the MVR and YI of antioxidant-modified sam-ple after the fifth extrusion were only 19.8%and 79.9%of pure iPP,while the OIT at 180℃significantly increased from 0.8 min to 74.8 min.
