Impact of Nutritional Management Model Based on NRS 2002 on Nutritional Status of Patients with Cerebral Infarction with Dysphagia
[Objective]To explore the effect of a nutritional management model based on NRS 2002 on the nutritional status of patients with cerebral infarction with dysphagia.[Method]Totally 92 patients with cerebral infarction dysphagia admitted to the Department of Neurology of Suzhou High-tech Zone People's Hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected for the study.According to the random number table, the 92 patients were evenly divided into 46 cases each in the control group and the observation group. The patients in the control group received conventional nutritional management, and the patients in the observation group were given comprehensive nutritional manage-ment based on NRS 2002.Changes in serum nutritional indicators albumin(ALB),prealbumin(PA),haemoglobin(HGB),swallowing func-tion and complications such as pulmonary infections, electrolyte disorders,nausea/vomiting,and constipation/diarrhoea were observed in the patients in the two groups after 1 month of intervention.[Result]After nutritional management, the serum nutritional indexes of patients in both groups were improved compared with the previous ones, while the nutritional management mode based on the guidance of NRS 2002 was more effective than the conventional nutritional management mode in increasing the level of patients'serum ALB,PA,and HGB increased at a higher level(all with P<0.05).The effective rate of improvement of swallowing function in the observation group was 60.87%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group. The complication rate was significantly lower than that in the control group.[Conclusion]Nutritional management model based on NRS 2002 can significantly improve the nutritional status and swallowing function of patients with cerebral infarction dysphagia and reduce the complication rate of patients.
