Current Situation and Governance Path of Food for Special Medical Purpose Industry
[Objective]Foods for Special Medical Purposes(FSMP)offer targeted nutritional support to individuals across all age groups and are an integral part of the modern healthcare system.They fill the gap left by traditional diets in meeting specific medical needs and have a profound impact on the entire medical public health sector.Continuously improving the governance of the FSMP industry,considering its current state of development,holds significant importance.[Method]This study employed literature review and data research to conduct a thorough analysis of the development and governance of China's FSMP industry.[Result]Despite the strong growth momentum within the FSMP sector,it still confronts issues such as an incomplete standards system,inefficient regulatory integration,and insufficient clinical application.[Conclusion]By standardizing the FSMP standards system,streamlining regulatory processes,and enhancing the understanding of clinical applications,we can effectively promote the robust development of the FSMP industry,thereby providing a continuous and reliable support for the achievement of"Healthy China."
